E-mail the Coach

A note to parents from the AAAA Board of Directors:  Due to the size of our swim team you may be asked throughout the year to volunteer to be a timer at our AAAA hosted meets as well as those out-of-town.  When asked, please help out the coaching staff and volunteer your time.  The Board thanks you for helping out!

The San Antonio Nadadores is an Age Group Swim Team, a member of the Alamo Area Aquatic Association, and affiliated with USA Swimming (USA-S).  The team was established in 1982 with emphasis placed on individual attention for each athlete in preparing them for top level competition.

The Nadadores are taught the value of hard work, self-discipline, self-reliance, and dedication.  In addition, to stroke techniques the athletes also develop a strong sense of fair play and sportsmanship.    The dedication and goal setting developed as a Nadadores Swimmer are known to play a vital role in the swimmer's academic achievements.

Swimmers from the program have gone on to attend prestigious Universities such as Princeton, Columbia, Cornell, Notre Dame, U. S.  Merchant Marine Academy, and the four U. S. Military Academies.

The San Antonio Nadadores train at the San Antonio Natatorium (25 scm and 25 scy) from August through May and the Alamo Heights outdoor pool (50 lcm) during the months of June and July.  Workouts are also offered at the San Antonio Natatorium (25 scm) during June and July.
