  Head Coach

                                                                                                      Dr. Donald Walker

Dr. Walker received his B.S. from Clarion University, an M.A. from University of The Incarnate Word, and a Doctorate from Texas A&M University. Coach Walker is a former NCAA and NAIA All-American swimmer. He has coached swimmers from Olympic Trial Qualifier to Novice level. He is the Past General Chairman of South Texas Swimming, Inc. and former USA Swimming, Inc. Outreach Chair.  He is also the Aquatics Director for SAISD and a Psychology Professor at San Antonio College.


Head Age Group Coach

Rusty Ives

Rusty Ives graduated from Highlands High School and competed as a Varsity swimmer for the Owls. He is currently completing his teacher certification from UTSA.  Coach Rusty has coached Tags as well as Stags finalists.  In addition to being the Head Age Group Coach for the San Antonio Nadadores, he serves as Head Coach for the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Team.


Assistant Age Group Coach

Thomas De La Garza

Thomas De La Garza is currently a student at San Antonio College. He graduated from Edison High School and holds numerous Varsity Records. He is the current SAISD District Record Holder in the 200 breaststroke. In addition, Coach De La Garza has qualified for the Texas Age Group State (TAGS) Championships several times.  He is currently employed by NEISD.


Head Novice Coach

Gail Marsch

Mrs. Marsch has more than 40 years of experience teaching toddlers and elementary school age children how to swim and basic water safety skills.  She attended and Coached at the University of Minnesota.

Assistant Novice Coach

Naddab Flores

Naddab Flores is a graduate of Lanier High School and competed as a Varsity swimmer for the Voks.  He coaches developmental swimmers and teach the basics of the four competitive strokes.  In addition for coaching the Novice team for the Nadadores, he is an Assistant Coach for the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Swim Team.


Stroke Technician Coach

Adrian Montoya

Adrian Montoya is a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University at Monroe (LSU-Monroe) and Highlands High School.  Coach Adrian is SAISD's most decorated swimmer as having qualified for the United States Olympic Trials in 2000 (100 back).  In addition, he is a former NISCA High School All American, TISCA First Team All State, and, Region 7 (5A) MVP.  Adrian has coached swimmers from Novice to Junior National level.  He is the former Head Coach at the University of the Incarnate Word.  He is currently the Assistant Facility Director at Palo Alto College.  Private lessons are available by appointment only.
